Volunteer

Shared Dreams for Independent living relies on the support of Volunteers to help us make our dreams come true.

A very small number of our placements will require a specific skill or knowledge however, for the majority of volunteer placements all we require from you are:

  • Commitment to our Vision and Mission
  • The desire to help
  • A willingness to work as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Respect for others
  • An understanding of confidentiality
  • A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Patience and understanding
